Forecast for 2021-04-01

River conditions forecasts posted on 2021-04-01 by Ottawa River Regulating Committee

Water levels and flows have begun receding in most areas along the Ottawa River. With forecasts of close to normal temperatures and no precipitation over the next few days, the remaining snow in the central and northern parts of the basin is expected to continue to slowly melt over the next week. Water levels are expected to continue to decline over the next week. Most of the spring runoff in the northern sectors is being stored in reservoirs in that part of the basin.
