River condition forecast on 2017-04-05

River conditions forecasts posted on 2017-04-05 by Ottawa River Regulation Planning Board

Reservoirs throughout the basin have started to fill. Inflows across the basin are increasing due to warmer temperatures and received rainfall. Significant increases in levels and flows are expected along the main stem of the river and its tributaries over the next few days. Minor flooding in low-lying areas is expected from Ottawa-Gatineau down to the Montreal region depending on received rainfall. More information is available in the April 5th ORRC Press Release.
