River conditions forecasts posted on 2024-03-14 by Ottawa River Regulating Committee

Flows and levels have stabilized and are decreasing in most locations along the main stem of the Ottawa River following recent rainfall runoff combined with snowmelt. The snow pack in the upland areas is expected to continue to melt slowly with above normal temperatures over the next few days. This early melt event has caused flows and levels to be above normal in most locations, but flows and levels are expected to stay close to seasonal values over the coming week.
