River conditions forecasts posted on 2024-04-11 by Ottawa River Regulating Committee

Significant rainfall is expected over the entire watershed over the next few days. Rainfall runoff and snowmelt water from some headwater areas and the northern part of the watershed will combine to increase spring flows in the Ottawa River. Water levels are expected to continue increasing on the main stem of the Ottawa River from Mattawa down to the Montreal Region. Flows and levels are expected to remain close to normal for this time of year at most locations over the coming week.
