Water levels and flows on the main stem of the Ottawa River (between Pembroke and Fort-Coulonge) are expected to increase rapidly in the next few days in response to ongoing rainfall over a large portion of the basin. Levels and flows in downstream locations, particularly on Lac Deschenes, are expected to continue increasing into the coming weekend. Levels may increase rapidly depending on location but will remain below flood thresholds along the main stem of the Ottawa River. This river conditions message will be revised on Friday.
