River conditions forecasts posted on 2022-04-18 by Ottawa River Regulating Committee

Water levels and flows in most locations along the main stem of the Ottawa River are close to seasonal values. Levels are expected to stabilize over the next few days with cooler temperatures and no significant precipitation forecast over the next few days. Minor flooding in low-lying areas may occur early this week depending on the amount of spring runoff. Low-lying areas are those locations that regularly flood during the spring freshet period. Reservoirs throughout the basin are being used to store runoff from the northern areas.
