Levels and flows are above normal for this time of year in many locations along the main stem of the Ottawa River. Upstream of Chats Lake, levels and flows are expected to remain relatively steady or decline slightly over the coming week. Downstream of Chats Lake, levels and flows could increase briefly in response to heavy rainfall over the coming days. Levels and flows are expected to decline following the rain.
