Levels and flows are near normal for this time of year in most locations along the main stem of the Ottawa River. Heavy rainfall forecasted in parts of the basin over the weekend (Sept. 6 to 9) could increase water levels and flows in some locations, with the possibility of rapid increases if heavy downpours occur. Water levels and flows are expected to decline following the rain.
