River condition forecast on 2011-05-01
River conditions forecasts posted on 2011-05-01 by Ottawa River Regulation Planning Board
Inflows have increased in the northern and central parts of the watershed due to recent warm temperatures and precipitation. Rainfall and snowmelt runoff from the north is rapidly filling the reservoirs in that part of the basin. Water levels and flows are beginning to stabilize from Pembroke down to Chats Lake but will continue to rise rapidly in the Lac Deshênes area in the Ottawa/Gatineau region causing minor flooding in low-lying areas.
