River condition forecast on 2016-03-31
River conditions forecasts posted on 2016-03-31 by Ottawa River Regulation Planning Board
Warming temperatures and rainfall amounts of 25 to 40 mm are expected over the next few days in the central and southern portion of the basin. The combination of heavy rainfall and snow melt may result in significant increases in water levels and flows in the Ottawa River and its tributaries. Depending on the amount of rain received there is a risk of minor flooding within the next few days for residents in low-lying areas along the shores of the Ottawa River, from Lake Deschênes down to the Montreal region.
