River conditions forecasts posted on 2017-05-04 by Ottawa River Regulation Planning Board
Water levels along the main stem of the Ottawa River have stabilized at most locations following the heavy precipitation received between April 30 and May 2nd. With further rainfall forecast (25 to 50 mm) over most of the basin beginning this evening, further significant increases in levels between Pembroke and the Montreal Region are expected. Given current forecasts and depending on location, flood levels are expected to peak Sunday into Monday May 8th.
