River condition forecast on 2017-10-31

River conditions forecasts posted on 2017-10-31 by Ottawa River Regulation Planning Board

Recent heavy precipitation over much of the basin has caused water levels and flows to increase rapidly in most sections of the lower Ottawa River from Lac Deschenes at Britannia down to the Montreal region. Levels have stabilized and with no significant precipitation forecast over the next few days, levels are expected to be fairly stable over the coming week.
