River conditions forecasts posted on 2018-05-09 by Ottawa River Regulation Planning Board

Water levels and flows are beginning to stabilize in most areas along the river and are expected to start declining in the next few days. Forecast rainfall in the northern portion of the basin will accelerate filling of the northern reservoirs. Water levels remain above minor flooding levels at Lake Coulonge, Chats Lake, Britannia/Lac Deschênes. Minor flooding in low-lying areas is possible in the lower river reach from Hull down to the Montreal region.
