River condition forecast on 2014-05-26
River conditions forecasts posted on 2014-05-26 by Ottawa River Regulation Planning Board
Cumulative rainfall over the last two weeks combined with already high snowmelt runoff from the northern part of the watershed has resulted in high peak flows for most of the Ottawa River Basin. To reduce downstream flooding most northern reservoirs have now been filled. Water levels on the main stem of the Ottawa River will continue to slowly decline over the next week.
