Forecast for 2022-03-22
River conditions forecasts posted on 2022-03-22 by Ottawa River Regulating Committee
Water levels and flows along the main stem of the Ottawa River between Lake Deschenes and the Montreal region have increased slightly in response to snowmelt and recent rainfall over the basin. With cooler seasonal temperatures and no significant precipitation forecast over the next few days, levels in most sectors should stabilize and remain close to seasonal values over the coming week. Northern reservoirs are emptied and are ready to retain snowmelt runoff water.
