River conditions forecasts posted on 2022-04-25 by Ottawa River Regulating Committee

Warmer temperatures combined with 10 to 25 mm of rainfall is forecast throughout the watershed today and tomorrow. Water levels and flows on the main stem of the Ottawa River are expected to increase in most locations over the next few days in response to combined snowmelt from the northern part of the basin and rainfall. Levels are expected to be similar to peak levels experienced about one week ago in most locations. Reservoirs throughout the basin will be used to partially store runoff from the northern areas.
