Close Monitoring of River Conditions – More Frequent Forecast Messages

Please note that the River Conditions Forecast message will be updated Thursday (Oct. 26) and Friday (Oct. 27) and possibly into next week (check ‘Next Update’ date).  This message is normally updated once weekly (on Tuesdays) at this time of the year.

More frequent updates are done this week due to the current high-water situation in some locations along the main stem of the Ottawa River.  The river conditions are being monitored closely and daily assessments of weather forecasts and river conditions will be reflected in the River Conditions Forecast message.
