Forecast for 2023-10-27
River conditions forecasts posted on 2023-10-27 by Ottawa River Regulating Committee
Levels and flows are above normal at most locations along the main stem of the Ottawa River following above normal precipitation received in the northern portion of the basin over the last several weeks. Ongoing precipitation in those upstream regions is bringing additional runoff and levels and flows are continuing to increase in some locations on the main stem of the river. Levels are expected to remain below minor flood levels in all locations on the main stem of the river, with levels at Mattawa expected to remain below 153.6 metres. Levels and flows are forecast to stabilize in the coming days before decreasing next week.
