River conditions forecasts posted on 2025-06-25 by Ottawa River Regulating Committee

Flows and water levels along the main stem of the Ottawa River are above average for this time of year in most locations due to recent rainfall. Forecast precipitation later this week is expected to delay the decline in water levels and flows. Over the next few days and into the weekend, levels and flows are expected to stabilize at and upstream of Lake Deschenes (Britannia), and to continue increasing slightly downstream of that location. Later next week, flows and water levels are expected to decrease in most locations.  Please take note of an important message from the ORRPB that is posted on the website Home page in the SPECIAL FEATURE section.
