Water levels and flows along the main stem of the Ottawa River are currently within seasonal values. Spring runoff is expected to increase over the coming days due to warmer temperatures and a series of weather systems forecast to bring a mix of rain and snow over the entire basin. With precipitation falling mainly as snow to the north and rain in the central and southern portions of the basins, water levels and flows are expected to increase from Lac Coulonge down to the Montreal Region over the coming week.
