Beginning of Hydrologic Forecast for Freshet 2026

The detailed four-day forecast has now begun. The Ottawa River Regulating Committee provides hydrological forecasts to the public at nine locations along the main stem of the Ottawa River. The forecast includes flow and water level values for the current day and the next three days. Forecasts are updated Monday to Friday, unless specified otherwise by the date stamp “Next Update” in the River Conditions Forecast message.
