Forecast for 2020-04-21

River conditions forecasts posted on 2020-04-21 by Ottawa River Regulating Committee

Levels are decreasing along the main stem of the Ottawa River from Pembroke down to the Montreal region as runoff from melting snow in local tributaries decreases. Levels in Mattawa are expected to be stable due to a stable discharge from the Abitibi-Timiskaming reservoirs. The general trend, for the full length of the river, is for a decrease in flows and levels as below normal temperatures and little precipitation are forecast over the next few days.
