A notable increase in water levels and flows is expected over the coming week in many locations along the Ottawa River between Mattawa and Grenville/Hawkesbury due to significant ongoing rainfall in the Abitibi-Timiskaming area. Currently no flooding is anticipated; however, water level increases due to fall precipitation are common on the Ottawa River and residents are encouraged to ensure that all susceptible property is properly secured.
