River conditions forecasts posted on 2021-09-21 by Ottawa River Regulating Committee

Water levels and flows on the main stem of the Ottawa River (between Lake Timiskaming and Pembroke) are expected to increase rapidly in the next few days in response to forecast rainfall of 40 to 80 mm over a large portion of the basin. Levels and flows in downstream locations, particularly on Lac Deschenes, are expected to continue increasing into the coming weekend. Levels may increase rapidly depending on location but will remain below flood thresholds along the main stem of the Ottawa River. This river conditions message will be revised on Thursday.
