Forecast for 2022-03-15

River conditions forecasts posted on 2022-03-15 by Ottawa River Regulating Committee

The warm weather forecast over the next few days and rainfall forecast for March 19 over a large portion of the basin are expected to cause water levels and flows on the main stem of the Ottawa River between Lac Deschenes and the Montreal region to increase slightly over the weekend. Water levels and flows are expected to remain close to normal for this time of the year over the coming week. Northern reservoirs are close to being emptied and will retain water once spring runoff begins in headwater areas of the basin.
