Forecast for 2023-04-07

River conditions forecasts posted on 2023-04-07 by Ottawa River Regulating Committee

Water levels and flows in most locations along the main stem of the Ottawa River are stable and near average values for this time of the year. With recent precipitation and daytime temperatures above zero over the next few days, levels and flows are expected to start increasing on the main stem of the Ottawa River between Mattawa and the Montreal region starting this weekend. Northern reservoirs are close to being emptied and will retain water once spring runoff begins in headwater areas of the basin. For more information, read the April 7 Press Release.
