Forecast for 2023-04-13

River conditions forecasts posted on 2023-04-13 by Ottawa River Regulating Committee

Water levels and flows on the main stem of the Ottawa River are expected to increase gradually in most locations over the coming week due to the melt of the snowpack in the central and southern parts of the basin. Minor flood levels could be reached (and possibly exceeded, depending on weather conditions) from Lac Deschenes down to the Montreal area starting Monday. Reservoirs in the northern part of the basin are being used to store runoff from the northern areas.
