Flows and water levels along the main stem of the Ottawa River are slightly above normal for this time of year from Mattawa down to Lake Deschenes due to recent and ongoing precipitation. Flows and levels should be fairly stable in all locations over the next few days. Levels and flows should begin to decline next week everywhere. Please refer to the forecast section of our website for more information about the river conditions in your area. Minor flooding in low-lying areas may occur over the next few days. Low-lying areas are those locations that regularly flood during the spring freshet period.
