Forecast for 2024-11-12
River conditions forecasts posted on 2024-11-12 by Ottawa River Regulating Committee
Flows and levels along the main stem of the Ottawa River are above average for this time of year due to above-normal precipitation received in the northern part of the basin over the last two weeks. Levels and flows are expected to remain above average in most locations as rainfall runoff is making its way down the river. Water levels and flows are stabilizing upstream of Lake Coulonge. Elsewhere, they are expected to continue rising for a few days. Thereafter, levels and flows are expected to return to seasonal values in all locations.
