Forecast for 2025-03-14

River conditions forecasts posted on 2025-03-14 by Ottawa River Regulating Committee

Water levels and flows along the main stem of the Ottawa River are close to normal for this time of year. Spring runoff is expected to increase due to forecast rain combined with warmer temperatures over the next few days. As a result, water levels and flows on the main stem of the Ottawa River are expected to increase slightly over the coming week in most locations downstream of Pembroke. They should stabilize with the return of closer to normal temperatures (positive during the day and negative at night) across the basin later this week. Upstream of Pembroke, levels and flows are expected to remain fairly stable over the next few days.
