Forecast for 2025-03-27

River conditions forecasts posted on 2025-03-27 by Ottawa River Regulating Committee

Water levels and flows on the main stem of the Ottawa River are above normal for the last week of March but are typical of conditions seen during the freshet. With spring runoff decreasing, water levels and flows are decreasing on the main stem of the river. They are expected to continue decreasing in all locations over the next few days. Later this weekend, weather bringing rain and freezing rain in the southern part of the basin and snow accumulation elsewhere could lead to a slight increase in spring runoff and water levels on the river, mainly downstream of Lake Coulonge.
