Rainfall and snowmelt runoff from the north is gradually filling reservoirs in that part of the basin. Flows and levels on the main stem of the Ottawa River between Pembroke and the Montreal region are expected to continue to increase over the next few days, with minor flooding expected in low-lying areas.
