River condition forecast on 2017-10-30

River conditions forecasts posted on 2017-10-30 by Ottawa River Regulation Planning Board

Precipitations received on October 29 and 30 over much of the basin have caused water levels and flows to increase rapidly in most parts of the lower Ottawa River reach, from Lac Deschenes at Britannia down to the Montreal region. Levels may increase a bit more and stabilize into Tuesday. With no significant precipitation forecast over the next few days, levels are expected to go back to normal conditions over the coming week.
