Water levels and flows are expected to peak in all areas along the river sometimes mid-week and are expected to remain high for several days thereafter. Water levels are now above minor flooding levels at Chats Lake and Britannia/Lac Deschênes. Major flooding threshold could be reached at Lake Coulonge today or tomorrow. Minor flooding in low-lying areas is possible in the lower river reach from Hull down to the Montreal region.
